After Bruff's recent Bluegrass Festival... don't miss the best of Bluegrass....

Béla Fleck & The Flecktones
Tuesday 3rd November at 8pm

Béla Fleck is often considered the premiere banjo player in the world. A New York City native, he picked up the banjo at age 15 after being awed by the bluegrass playing of Flatt and Scruggs.
Béla is the only musician to be nominated for Grammy awards in jazz, bluegrass, pop, country, spoken word, Christian, composition and world music categories!
In 1989 he formed The Flecktones. They made their self titled debut recording in 1990 by playing a blu-bop mix of jazz and bluegrass and soon became a commercially successful, critically acclaimed and award winning band.
Individually the band comprise some of the most gifted and respected musicians in America....Victor Wooten (regaled as the most influential Bassist since Jaco Pastorius); Roy El aka Futureman (inventor, scientist, musician & composer...creator of the Drumitar!); Howard Levy (first to use overflow and overdraw techniques on the diatonic harmonica)
Unmissable!

Classical Music Concert great success!

The Concert last night was a great success. The quality of the musicians produced a standing ovation. The atmosphere in the Church was fantastic. Morning Star Rose Marie Kirby attended in her first official outing as the new Morning Star Rose and delighted everyone with her stunning appearance and graceful charm.

My apologies to Tom Walsh who was omitted from the list of thank you's on the concert programme. The special atmosphere in the Church was contibuted to in a major way by the lighting supplied by Tom Walsh of Hear it Sound and Lighting. You can access Tom's company website by clicking here. Many thanks Tom.
